Spring is fast approaching and the days are slowly getting warmer and warmer. people are no longer able to wear their fashion favourites from fall and winter 2020-2021, like layered sweater vests and turtle necks. because of this people are starting to wonder what they should wear during the spring season. Though the personal style is very important trends can be a good starting point.
Mom/Dad Shorts
People are becoming bored with normal jean shorts and are taking to putting a spin on this summer staple by changing the silhouette to be slightly longer and looser fitting, taking after mom jeans. This style of shorts looks awesome paired with street style and oversized blazers.
Milkmaid Dresses
Milkmaid dresses are making a modern comeback with a variety of silhouettes. These dresses are characterized by puffed sleeves, a tighter fitting bodice and usually with a straight across the collar. You can look at French fashion for inspiration for this upcoming trend. These dresses are classic in Parisian fashion and are slowly making their way into American fashion with a casual update. You will usually see these dresses paired with a casual jacket for more of a young look or adorned with a fun print.
