this was one of the very first tv shows that inspired me with its fashion, so I thought that the chilling adventures of Sabrina would be a great way to start this series. The show really started my love of dark academia and southern gothic aesthetics. the show has a lot of characters with individual styles that show their character arc as well as connecting with the aesthetic of the show. These outfits won't be direct copies of the outfits in the show but instead inspired by the aesthetic of the show and its characters.
Show Aesthetic:
Outfit 1:
This outfit is inspired by Sabrina's interactions with the weird sisters I loved this look so much I thought it called back to classical depictions of witchy clothing revamped. I like that this dress has more detail than the dresses they wear but still hold Sabrina style with the lipstick and the headband.
Outfit 2:
this outfit immediately jumped out to me in the show I think it's super fun and casual. I like how simple it is, to begin with, but adding the accessories that she did really made it fit into her style and the style of the show perfectly.
Outfit 3:
this outfit was inspired by the many patterned dressed she wears over shirts. I think this revamped look is young and perfect for fall. layering dresses with other pieces is a perfect way to transition clothing into your fall wardrobe.
Outfit 4:
For my fourth look, I thought I would do something inspired by all the red clothing she wears, red definitely seems to be a staple in Sabrina's wardrobe. I decided to create an edgier look by adding a leather jacket and heeled boots.
Outfit 5:
This outfit is inspired by all the warm brown tones she wears throughout the show. I thought this was definitely something she might wear. I added a turtleneck under the sweater for an interesting collar. which is something she does a lot with her outfits.
Outfit 6:
We see her wearing a lot of collared shirts and sweaters throughout the show and I thought this would be the perfect outfit for that. The aesthetic of a lot of the outfits on this show have always felt 50s inspired to me which is something you can definitely see reflected in this outfit.
Outfit 7:
When I first saw this red shirt I was immediately reminded of Sabrina I thought I ould add a plaid skirt which is something you see her wearing often on the show. I also absolutely love her iconic red jacket in fact after I first watched the show I looked everywhere for a good replica.
